Vrischikasana... Scorpion...

Vrichikasana is an advanced position. Vrichika means scorpion. To sting it's victim scorpion arches it's tail above it's back and strikes beyond it's head. This posture looks like a striking scorpion.

This Posture gives balance and harmony to the mind and body. You should be very comfortable in the headstand to attempt this posture.

How to do the scorpion:

Come to the headstand. Bend both knees , arch your back, and bring the feet towards the head. Now release your inter locked fingers and bring your palms flat on the floor. Relax few seconds in this position. Then slowly lift your head up.Keep on pushing th elbows harder on the floor and make sure all the body weight is on the elbows.
