HATHA YOGA RETREAT

The island of Lemnos (sometimes called Limnos) itself is situated in the northwest Aegean, where fascinating history combines with stunning landscape. The Portomyrina Palace is situated along the edge of the long stretch of sandy beach in the bay of Avlonas, with marvellous views over Mount Athos. A ten minute stroll brings you to Mirina, the island's capital, where a traditional Greek atmosphere surrounds the many restaurants and tavernas.
Programme?

The week will include daily morning practice, and some evening sessions. Approximately 11.00-12.30pm every day & 5.00-6.00pm in the evenings. The teaching is dynamic, will revitalise, lengthen & strengthen you each morning ready for the rest of the day ahead. Evening sessions will be more relaxing.
Facilities

The club is built amongst extensive landscaped grounds with well-tended lawns dotted with coloured plants and trees leading down to the water's edge. Within the grounds are the archaeological remains of the pre-Hellenistic Temple of Artemis, discovered when the hotel was being excavated and have been preserved as a unique feature of the hotel.

An elegant lounge bar offers a suberb location for a pre-dinner drink and a bright, modern restaurant provides the perfect backdrop for the superb food available on your Beachplus holiday.

A large saltwater pool is around 1.6m deep and has an area cordoned off for swimming lengths, while the rest of its considerable area is available for general use. Many sunloungers, a children's pool and a play area are nearby. Wandering down past the pool, our private beach is home to the sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing equipment, as well as a volleyball court.
Accommodation (132 Rooms - Exclusive to Neilson)

At the Portomyrina Palace, rooms are located in either the main building or in small two storey villas within the gardens, which are closer to the beach and pool.

All rooms have modern furnishings in neutral colour schemes with private facilities (bath/shower combination), air conditioning, mini fridge, telephone, TV and balcony or terrace with table and chairs.
Meals

Your holiday price includes our unique 'club board': daily breakfast and lunch and four evening meals a week. This allows you to sample the local restaurants and tavernas on the non-inclusive nights or alternatively, you may choose to dine from the hotel restaurant.

Our professional chefs cater for all tastes from local specialities to dishes that will suit the most conservative palate.
