Asanas explained... Benefits and cautions

 

By doing yoga asanas or postures, the body becomes flexible and strong and feeling fantastic.  All asanas will affect the body in some way so it’s very helpful to know and understand what happens when we do them and why we do them.  Even though yoga is for everyone not all the postures are for everyone.  Because yoga’s effects are felt well beyond what most of us can ever imagine, let us be informed and totally safe by developing a mindful practice that is right for us at this very moment.
