Welcome to yoga-live Art & Spirit |
Nadarajah... painted by Mythili |
“We live in a rainbow of chaos” We are all very excited by this latest addition to our vibrant on line magazine. Our intention is to keep this section as a work in progress to which we will continue to add new inspirations to lift the spirit and nurture the soul. We are all co-creators with God and in this capacity, irrespective of the medium chosen for the expression of our art, we all have the possibility to direct our intentional thought energy and creative voice to the purpose of peace and soul healing, not only for ourselves but for the highest good of planet earth and every living creature. Many say that art cannot be defined and that everything that we do can be considered as art. When we allow ourselves to disappear in the divine embrace of our creation, from playing a musical piece to modeling clay, we suddenly find that we have stepped into another dimension. The creative act itself enables us to explore the divine Source within. There is a closely-knit relationship between spiritual practice and creative practice and any creation steeped in spirituality offers immense opportunities for transformation. Artists can see beyond the ordinary. They are visionaries, and so long as they can retain a humility and gratefulness of spirit together with a strong commitment to service, they will always find a way to connect to the creative pulse of the Universe and channel spiritual energies to the world. Artists support the expansion of consciousness by bringing the subconscious to the conscious, the darkness into the light and raising the vibration of mankind and the planet as a whole. Our primary hope in including this section on our website is to facilitate access to beautiful artwork which we feel has much to contribute to help our ailing planet. The more people connect to the spiritual energy of transformative art which dissolves ego-driven desires and fears, the closer the universe gets to enlightenment. Artists capture the essence of life in their art. They allow transcendent concepts to find unhindered expression through their art. Looking at art on the web or in art books is invaluable because it provides opportunities for contemplative experience in the undisturbed silence and solitude of the soul. When one can bring one’s one-pointed attention to one piece of art, it suddenly becomes a portal to the fourth dimensional reality. Art is a tool for change and a vehicle for enlightenment. The artist’s gift of vision goes with a deep spiritual responsibility and if mankind fails to seize the golden opportunity to evolve and grow spiritually which is provided by the artist, then art will have lost its purpose. QUESTION: First, I would like to thank Cauldre (Geoffrey Hoppe, the channeller) again for his service. My question is about art. What is the connection between art and Spirit? Will it be different in the new energy?
