FESTIVAL FOR PEACE

Earthdance is the largest music and dance festival dedicated to world peace.  The culminating point of this peaceful day of celebrations will be marked by thousands of people from all nations uniting together in heart and voice to recite the Prayer for Peace, in their native language and regardless of time zones, as a way to show their support for humanitarian causes and raise awareness for peace.

Earthdance is dedicated to promoting key peace efforts worldwide in a world torn apart by escalating global conflicts.  Over 300 locations in 60 countries worldwide have already announced their decision to be part of the 2008 synchronized global dance music festival   In the UK, this year’s event will be held in two locations - Stevenage and Swindon.
